Do what the Japanese do... abandon the domestic league to give enough times for the international team to bond and practice... otherwise they will play as a disjointed pile of mess like they have the past 4 games.

Did you all forget that I did mention this 'problem' during the group stages?

There was no 'England player' full stop....none of them are that bothered or that good...."I score every match in the Prem but my feeds are from foreign players".....for example Liverpool, Chelsea etc etc. The only way out of this 'world failure' is for the FA (which at the moment stands for F..k All) is to ignore Prem players...select from Championship and League One, select those that are paid the least, select from those that 'clean the boots', in other words....select from those that want to play for their country and don't get over-rated and pampered by press and public....neanderthals shouldn't apply! (Unfortunately, this would also include Germany from where the 'being' was discovered!)

Within a week, I bet that the 'heavily stressed World Cup stars' of the 'failed World Cup squad' are heavily featured in the press having a whale of a time on their well earned holiday, getting ready to start another arduous season....ha flaming ha :¬)

I also won't be surprised if prem season ticket sales are down next year...for once this World Cup has shown that a team of 'nobodys' can beat the best, at football!

And don't worry Chris, you are 17 and will have many more European Championships and World Cups to look forward to....I've witnessed far too many failures since 1966 and thankfully, as far as England's chance is concerned in any major tournament, I won't have to witness many more...:¬))

I'm the striker next tournament :) Although Alfonse has a point (from fb) put Green up fronta as he's scored more than Rooney :p

So...for someone that went on a fab date...I did well to miss the game? Or is it worth watching the game from the video my parents made? :/

The England squad has had the same core players for too long, the squad needs to be completely rebuilt. England player of the Tournament for me has to be Milner. Sensational player.

Because they play well for their clubs. They get paid minimum wage for the World Cup.

We were awful, they are supposed to be the best players but put them together for england and they are rubbish.
I don't know why we have to pay them as much as we do!

Only reason I've predicted a German win is so that if the German's win, there's a silver lining :)
