Lovely stuff.
I went on my old save, mucked around killing lots of things very easily. Summoned Eden a bit.
Then I went on FF9 for a bit. So very underrated - the backgrounds still look pretty sweet, even now. Although the people are very jagged.
Went down the Black Mage Village, had a little dance to the music.
THAT'S IT:
I've had enough of not being able to remember FF8.
This half term is FF8 week. All other game-playing will be put on hold.
And, I sure, so will all work-doing.
I need to start playing this again. I had a really good game that I hadn't finished - I spent ages and ages and ages in battles absorbing magic and had 100 of quite a few different spells. VERY good junctioning. I just need to find the save...

Yup yup.
But the damage caps out at 9999 anyway, and I think (I think) Bahamut did that anyway - even without boost.
Boost was fun. Totally fecked your fingers up, but still great fun - and took away a lot of the boredom when watching the cutscene for the thousandth time.
But then I got an auto-fire controller and everything went boring again : (

Did you use boost? It's really easy to get to full 250. In fact, you can do it two or possibly three times, just for fun. Because it lasts that long.
