Finally, another Post!
Final Fantasy 8 has to be the best. The junction system allows you to do more than the materia system. With the Trigger function in battle it makes Limit Breaks a lot more fun to do, I find the characters have much better personallities and, lets face it, your no longer running around as an ice cube on legs.
Is this Thread dead or something?

Anyway i didn't like 8 because i just couldn't relate to the characters. I found them and the plot weak and just stopped playing after halfway through disc 3. Plus i found the junction system weak and was crying back for my materia.

I only used Eden about once, because it takes about an hour to do. I was expecting something really special - as in massive damage - but my Bahmut did more.

I really can't remember 8 much.
Which is funny, because I played it last out of the PSX 3.
I'll have to do it again - I remember the ending being good, Chocobos being shitewash (but that was because the Pocketstation was never released), trying to find the white SeeD ship, hunting space monsters, that bit in space with Squall and Riona and running up a big chain.

Well, only it terms of story, characters, locations, battles, side-quests and quality.
But, if someone told me to play through another FF.
It would be 9.
