I agree. This was the first Final Fantasy game I had ever played. Had I played FF7 before I played FF8 maybe I would have seen things differently.

its one of the few games where u get more plotlines as u restart it
the main character was realistic and a real person for once
the battles and music were amazing
the junction system is the best once u get the hang of it
every game is different
just dont think about the other ffs when u play it when u complete it ull realise its better

Wow. I can't believe so many people think that FF8 was bad. FF8 was THE BEST!! It had gripping story, intresting characters, fantastic music and an improved battle system. AND Selphie. FF7 was really close, but I still reckon FF8 is the God of all computer games.

Nah nah nah. Just think about that sound. What predators will "KWEH!" ward off? None! They'd be extinct before you reach the airship! If you try and imagine a soundbite to go with that word, only "WARK!" can do it justice.
