The game forums are closing, so i am moving the popular FF forum here. No spamming, just 100% FF. Let's start with a question.... which of the FFs is the best?

I enjoy the card games though from FF8 and F9. I've got al the cards from both games but it's harder in FF9. When I first played it I seemed to win and then they put a card down and I was completely defeated. However on my second attempt I haven't lost (so far... as I go noe from time to time).

But I still think FF9 is great. It's a new story that lives up to the standard of FF. It may not be the best in certain ways compared to FF7 and FF8 but I'm ready for FF10.

FF9 weakness is that it's a bit too easy. I completed the final boss with ease and I had just reached 50 levels.

Chocobo breeding in FF7:

Who's tried at breeding a gold chocobo in FF7? More to the point, who's succeeded at breeding a gold chocobo? It takes AGES doesn't it? (well if you capture the right chocobo's to start with your lucky as it will take you less time- just a matter of raising their stats to the max and them making them S class- oh and raising the gill to improve them!!).
I've succeeded at getting gold chocobo from the old man in Kalm but only after breeding a gold chocobo. What are other people's stratagies?

Toughness of enemies:

In FF7 who is the most difficult enemy to beat? Ruby weapon or Emerald weapon?
People who've fought them and defeated them (I'm assuming you have) should know. I think they are very alike in difficulty.

In FF8 who is the most difficult enemy to beat? Ultima weapon, Omega weapon or the series of bosses at the end?
I think Omega weapon is the toughest but only because it can eliminate your team (or some of your team depending on if they are invulnerable as is the only way to stay alive and fight)in one go. Ultima weapon and the end bosses are only tough if your unprepared.

In FF9 who is the most difficult enemy to beat? (is there one!?).
Ozma is perhaps the toughest in FF9 alone I suppose but doesn't really compare to trying to beat the toughest ones from FF7 and FF8.

What are other people think?

final fantasy 7 is easily the best final fantasy so far, on the ps1 that is. It is a classic and is much better than ff8 which was aboring dissappointment, and better than ff9 which was good but no where near as good as final fantasy 7.
