The game forums are closing, so i am moving the popular FF forum here. No spamming, just 100% FF. Let's start with a question.... which of the FFs is the best?

i agree, they could have based it on any final fantasy except (ff1 and ff2) and it would have been a success. out of all the possible great stories they come up with a rubbish idead about the end of earth it was to similar to movies like titan ae.

if they wanted the movie to be a success they should have based it on FF7

i'd say it was a big relief after what the final fantasy movie was like. (imagine if it was a success and they made anther few movies like it)

yup, square will not be making any more movies after the failure of the ff movie.

I read today that Square was selling there Honolulu studio because the movie flopped.

if your having money problems then the last thing you should be doing is spending a whole heap of money making something which you haven't had any experience in at all. maybe if they hadn't spent all that money wasting it on making a unsuccessful film then we'd actually have FFX by now as they'd have more staff doing all the translations and stuff

What the hell do you want, interaction!? If it was more FF-ish it would have to be interactive, and then it would be a game and not a film.

And Square were having money problems before the movie, I'm pretty sure, but God knows why.

they should make a movie for ff7.
now that would be good.
