The game forums are closing, so i am moving the popular FF forum here. No spamming, just 100% FF. Let's start with a question.... which of the FFs is the best?

Has anyone played Anthology yet? Has Square done anything to the game this time, or is it a straight port of the SNES version?

Oh yeah, my fave is 4 (originally released as 2 outside Japan on the SNES... ten years ago). 6 (3) is quite good, but I found the PS1 games deviated far too much from the fantasy theme... and the characters weren't, well, believable. Still they made for great games. But I still found myself going back to 2.

Yeah they do look odd dont they(kingdom hearts)....Its one game I certainly will not be buying!!! LOL!! Anyone who buyes this is a sucker...

I found FF9 to easy. Ok FF7 was challenging, but for me FF8 was the best challenge. Anyway Ive played FFX demo and it rocks you can even control the summons now, how skill?!! Anyways I hope Squaresoft keep up the good work. Did you hear they are off to produce for nintendo? As long as they stop working with Disney they should be ok, they have spoilt everything, kingdom hearts looks crap...

I also thought FF8 was the better than 7&9, mainly because i thought the junctioning system was great. The characters being more realistic like Pro Evo said made them a bit easier to relate too, hopefully going back to this more realistic character model will work for FFX as well.

Actually, i think that FF8 was the best out of them all, the more realism you got from it meant that you could kind of relate to it more, and understand the characters more than you could a yellow spikey headed bloke or one with a tail swaying in the air.

There all good though, in there own way, but FF8 is the better one in my opinion.

FF7 was so good. FF8 was better. The ending so cool, but i would like it coz im a girl. Why do most people hate FF8? It had better graphics, more realistic and the storyline was so gooooooooood!!

Ah FF7. I might go back to it when I finnish FFX. If I ever do...
