The game forums are closing, so i am moving the popular FF forum here. No spamming, just 100% FF. Let's start with a question.... which of the FFs is the best?

it isn't out yet is it...well i've got it preordered on amazon which says it's being released on the 17th (this friday)...
i've got final fantasy IV on my snes emulator and that's quite good although it's a heck of a lot harder than the other FF games i've played.
played FF5 briefly (a badly translated one) on my snes thing...but got annoyed with the bad translation so stopped and deleted it...
i'm looking forward to playing them both properly. For the time being though i can get stuck into FINAL FANTASY TACTICS..my first game for my new US PS1 :)

i've got 13 A2 papers as well...so my xbox and ps2 are safely away at home (i board)...however i DO have my snes emulator on my pc :D
but i've got a hell of a lot of work to do ARGHHH

I've got my final A-levels 20th May to 25th June (sounds spaced but take out the weeek holiday and its tight). 12-13 exams in all !!!!!!! After though I'll safely lock myself in my room and play FF4/5 and 10 until I'm sane enough.

when you first play it is basically you taking it in turns to whack each other...but later you get magic...get summons...get to decide how you want to shape your character (the sphere board)...more tactics required later...

I haven't played any of the FF either but by the looks of them, they look really interesting and with great graphics. But i have also heard that all you have to do is press the O or the X button to attack, also taking it in turns to attack. I'm sure that if any of us would not just take it in turn to hit each other, you would be hitting your opponent as much as you can. I'm sure that i'm wrong about what i have said is wrong, if it was correct then why have the series been so succesful.
