Right. The web design forum here needs a website, for posting all sorts of advice, links, news etc. A "community" website. It should be interactive and fully display the best of our skills. So:

Coding - Me, cjh and ajh. Basically anyone who can.

Site design and layout - Reaper and Tyla. You guys work together on it. Give me a final layout as a Fireworks file and I'll take it from there

Content - Andy/Bob, and everyone else here

We need some webspace, I'll get some at Freedom2Surf once their servers come back online. They're a very good server for what we want to do. If anyone else wants to help out, that's great.

Any more suggestions would be welcome.

I'm gonna start work on a template for the site then. Should have something up by Wednesday, maybe Thursday.

More than most in here anyway. Short posts could mean we've either solved the problem quickly or not good a clue what they're on about and carefully sidestepped the question - possibly more likely..

Sorry Andi, feeling pedantic, had to point out the three other big threads - Rob's logo competition, the WLT and the EEGAD. Oh, and some weird one on the very frist page titled "PC".

NAMES UPDATE!

We (me, Whooo and Reaper) like the sound of "Techelp", "Technet" or "Nettech". The second is used by Microsoft but we don't think they've copyrighted it. So, does anyone else have any more ideas?
