Why not review your camera, or Singapore? Might win you a GAD!
If Google were to buy Mozilla, it may allow for a large cash injection for advertising (so more people know of it's existence) and development, and could give Microsoft a kick up the a**e.

Would you say webdesigning has gotten easier, now that people are using the latest browsers which are more alike than they were years ago.
I mean there was a whole bunch of stuff that would only work in IE, I remember. Oh and I'm glad more people are using Firefox instead of IE =) I just hope AOL don't try to buy them. Hmm what if google did? I wonder if that would be a good thing or a bad thing. They certainly make a hell of a lot of money from google, thanks to their search thing up there in the corner.

Cheers cjh but I think I'll stay away from free providers. =) Some have time limits and others are really poor quality. So I'm okay with hosting my own files as long as I can afford it.
Though I'm sure I'll create some videos for sites like YouTube, just to plug my site/project =) free advertising.

Oh okay then, thanks cjh =) the reason I ask is because when I check the validator thing on the w3 site. They tend to tell me off unless I close some tags like this
.js" />. But I haven't checked this one in the validator yet.Do you check your sites in their validators? I've checked a few sites and they usually get lots of errors. I wonder if it really makes a difference, or it's just making you keep your codes tidy. Or something.
"I need to be able to post videos and audio clips in flash files".
Take a look at YouTube, as they do let you include video files (via their video player) within your web site, even though they host it. All you'd have to do is upload your files under your YouTube account, and I think they'll convert a range of files formats. Saves you having to do it, plus a bandwidth saving as well.
<script SRC="http://###########/zone1.js" />, as it's not the way it's supposed to be written, and so a web browser may not know how to work with it - even though it does follow the 'empty element' rule of XML / XHTML (if an element doesn't have a closing element, it must be closed with a final slash).Even though it may appear to work (as web browser, IE in particular, aren't that fussy), it may cause some unknown problems further down your page.
Why are video cameras so expensive? =( I really want to do some proper filming instead of using my digital camera. I could buy one, but then I'd blow my budget.

Sorry, I guess I didn't explain it properly ^^ I just reposted what I meant below =)

I tried to learn both, I think I learnt a bit more about PHP but this was years ago in the 90ies I think? So I've forgotten everything. However I'm not a complete idiot, so I can easily install these free scripts and do the odd change to them. I just can't fo much else.
Well I've been learning CSS and doing more javascript. I didnt want to make a PHP or ASP site so I assumed I should just stick to doing everything in perl. Polls, surveys, daily image generators etc.

That's true and I'd love to just be able to focus on other things instead of spending weeks trying to get a poll script working or a banner ad system. But then I want the site to look good and be able to handle heavy traffic =) So I need everything to be stable.

Yeah I kinda wish I had now =( lol don't say that, but I think the weather is going to get less summery. I'm hoping Sunday will be okay as that's when there's less people around, making it the perfect time to go take photos around town and the high street. Which are areas I havent got many photos of yet. =)
