Back when Special Reserve was still around and sister company to Freeola, I approached the parent company, Inter-Mediats Ltd, with the proposal of buying in to Freeola, which resulted in the company being separated from Special Reserve, with myself and Inter-Mediats Ltd taking 50% each (I paid £690,000 for my share).
When SR when under, I bought the remaining 50% from Inter-Mediats Ltd (for £468,000), taking full control. At the moment, I'm in talks with Orange about a possible sale - for a 7 figure sum :)
The GAD thing was to keep you and the others on their toes, but now I've run out of things to review and write about :)
I also did a BBQ today =) my first one. Well it was just burgers, but I did a good job and they were quite nice.
I dont think I'm good enough to attempt a spag bol, but I'd really like to give it a go sometime. I'll have to get my mum to teach me. My girlfriend doesnt know how to cook yet. Which is a shame as I thought all Chinese women knew how to cook well =) nevermind.
Hey cjh I have a question for you. Do you work for Freeola? It's just you seem to win all these GADs and yet you never claim. How come?
Ah ha! I figured it out =D
Funnily enough though, I'm not very good at beans if they come with those little sausages, as I always under-cook them, how rubbish is that :)
I'm checking the photos now. Some good ones, some not so good. There's this little bridge that I cross. For some reason I only get good shots from one side of it and not the other. I guess it's because of the sun. Perhaps if I take some photos there before midday they might turn out better.
Enough about the photos. I need to buy some nice plates. Not sure about you guys but my cooking skills are limited to beans on toast at the moment. =/
For my site as well as eating lots of great food along my travels, I'd like to learn to cook food myself. I always wanted to get into cooking. My dad loved to cook, but only really got into it in his mid 40ies.
The last time I cooked anything was probably in high school and that was over a decade ago. So I'm going to start with something simple and something that I love. Chinese food =) We have quite a few Chinese cook books and I've been flicking through them the last few days. Some real delicious dishes in there *drools*
Enjoy your lunch guys =)
hangon has someone been telling porky pies? The weather outside seems to be better than yesterdays. This is good weather for photos, the sky is really blue. I hope it doesnt rain later.
I'd be out now but my uncle might come round to start taking off the wallpaper. We can do it ourselves but he recently retired and he seems keen to do it.
I took a few photos of the cat earlier. He'll have a few pages on my site =)
"Surely with IE7 they've sorted things out haven't they?"
Not as much as many would have like them to have. There are still some buggy CSS implementations.
Machie:
"Didn't think I should while I'm still testing my site in other browsers".
If you're not using the strict rendering engine (triggered by using a strict DOCTYPE) then IE 7 should render your site exactly as it would look in IE 6.
There's a couple of pages and text files.
Admin
- Login
- Admin Page (The control centre)
- Create Area (Could be part of Area List)
- Area List (List of all current Ad Areas)
- Create Advertiser Account (Name, email, urls to banners etc.)
- Advertiser Page (Or could be the same as Create Advertiser Acc)
- Welcome Email (.txt file)
- Campaign End Email (.txt file)

I think that's all of them, didn't want to make lots of pages.

I guess my heart isn't in it anymore. My last attempts failed, so like a lot of other people, I just don't bother anymore. I still play the bingo but I havent done so well on that either.

Surely with IE7 they've sorted things out havent they? I have downloaded IE7. Didn't think I should while I'm still testing my site in other browsers. I'll have to install it again on my brothers machine.
