rolling thunder was ace!!
it was a platform shooter, all the baddies looked like the foot soldiers from ninja turtles, but different colours (different colours took varying amounts of hits to kill). you had a pistol but could get a machine gun, erm... it was loosely spy-related, you could duck into rooms to get ammo and stuff..

Anyone else remember Superfly on the Amiga? A true classic that shouldn't be remade.

All I nee dnow is an Amiga.
Great stuff. I think tie fighter was the best, as I loved playing as the baddies, and the storyline was really quite good.
I don't think anything has beaten this series as a serious space combat simulation.
