I bought the Destiny's Child album today, and it's fantastic.
Sorry.
If me buying the CD enables them to make more videos, then I have done a service for mankind.
And, the songs are excellent. "Bootylicious" - pure sex.
AND they can sing.
I heard them do accapella and they can cut it live with no production.
I like this CD a lot.
*gets out inlay card once more and nods*
Yep, they got it going ooooooooooooooon
Show some respect for 3 ladies wearing fur crawling out of the sea, you slack-jawed trogs
yes their hot! so is Foxy brown :) yummy.
I have learned that the thesis of female empowerment is taken more seriously by women dressed in very little in videos directed by men, for men.
If you feel the need to buy girly CDs keep it to yourself.
P.s the lead singer is a total fox!!
As to the rest of your post, I don't understand. Are you agreeing

hhmm, my post was a little messy.
ok, in the last bit of the post I was saying that recent 'pop' groups use the term rap because it takes away the fact that they are useless puppets that have no ideas of what makes a good song and use rap lyrics to make them a bit more 'ruff edged' and 'acceptable' no i'm not saying that Five and Lisa Roxan are good, they mind numbingly bad! the fact is, if one of the band members say, well I made the MC lyrics, people would get lost and think, whats that then? whereas the term rap is know all over, rap's a totally different set of lyrics and although crappy pop bands only use it because of the 'don't mess' stereotype which goes along with the rhyme for some reason.
Now, you made me stray from the subject:
no a Guitar isn't a genre, but you'll find, if you go into a shop of find some music on the net, rap is a seperate catagory to Hip-Hop you might think they're the same, but your wrong, they're different styles.
Rap is misused and too vague these days, with pop(commercial) rap and so on, Hip-Hop is more underground, and more of a music lovers style.
>the post about rap... don't really need to quote it.
But to call rap a genre is akin to calling "guitar" a genre, which nicely highlights the ludicrious nature. MCing came about long before anyone rapped - its simply a host, a compere. Was used in that meaning for ages and slowly became a lyrist as the people hoasting musical evening began to talk over the music. Add years of evolution and you've got MCing in its current meaning.
