Okay, an absolute torrent of entries for this one, it too ka good couple of hours to read them all, and I had to kill several trees for the paper to print them all out, so no moaning about the winners.

Winner of a game of his choice - mickey, for his suggestion of a 'Gameaday Receipt' idea, of which many of you suggested, but mickey got their first. Well done, mickey.

Runners up prize of a DVD of his choice goes to Aliboy, for his 'Santa' idea. It's well put and a nice festive idea, so it's definitely worthy of a prize. Congrats.

Thanks to everyone for all your entries, we read them all and found them to be very useful. Peace out, and complaints to the usual address. Cheers

Ali

Extra GAD prize here for those with a creative brain to help us with our marketing and promotions.

1. Don't suggest any alterations to the site design. Don't suggest expensive campaigns.

2. Suggest how we can attract more visitors to the site from within the pages of our Club Magazine and our adverts in the specialist press such as PC Gamer.

3. Remember space is very limited. But you can enter this with something as simple as a change to the wording which we already use.

Below is an example of the type of thing we are looking for:

Headline
So, what do you say boys?

Text
Chat me up and WIN! Visit Gameaday.co.uk now. Just click on me and type in your favourite chat up line. That's all it takes to win ANY game of your choice in our EXTRA chat up line competition. There's one prize for the best and one for the worst chat up lines.

Explanation
This would be an extra Gameaday prize running in conjunction with the promotional campaign. Designed specifically to draw in new visitors.

The winner will be the person who makes the suggestion MOST LIKELY to draw in extra visitors. The deadline for entries is the end of October.

Tricky eh?

If you adverised on popular web sites your advert could do this.....

Lot's of red splats appear on the screen then a giant one fills the whole screen wich says 'click here to win games'

You know you have the reviews in your mag.

How about a box with "Want a second opinion? ukreviews.com" in it or something.

How about sticking a few cheats on one page in the mag, then "For more cheats come to ukcheats.com" or something.

I would advise you put this in magazines.

You could have an advert at the end of the reviews section with a red splat on a whole page, then on the next page another which says "Go on, turn over" and on the next page another which shows pictures of winners and on the next page another which says"You just read those reviews. You just seen winners of gamaday, now let us see if you can do any better. Also, it'd make sense to have a clearer

My family don't order too much over the internet as my Mum (holds credit card:-D) has been ordering over Amazon long before I found SR. And when I said try this site if you are going to buy me games etc.

The first time we bought anything on it was I think when Pokemon Stadium had been out a couple of weeks or it could of been later. But like Dr. Duck said we were joining for the first time with the order and it tooks us a good 45 minutes before we could work out what we were actually doing since we had gone back and forward trying to sort things out so much we had kinda disorientated ourselves :-D

I know that it has been changed slightly since then but obviously as Dr. Duck pointed out it could still be improved quite a bit.
