Winner of a game of his choice - mickey, for his suggestion of a 'Gameaday Receipt' idea, of which many of you suggested, but mickey got their first. Well done, mickey.
Runners up prize of a DVD of his choice goes to Aliboy, for his 'Santa' idea. It's well put and a nice festive idea, so it's definitely worthy of a prize. Congrats.
Thanks to everyone for all your entries, we read them all and found them to be very useful. Peace out, and complaints to the usual address. Cheers
Ali

Extra GAD prize here for those with a creative brain to help us with our marketing and promotions.
1. Don't suggest any alterations to the site design. Don't suggest expensive campaigns.
2. Suggest how we can attract more visitors to the site from within the pages of our Club Magazine and our adverts in the specialist press such as PC Gamer.
3. Remember space is very limited. But you can enter this with something as simple as a change to the wording which we already use.
Below is an example of the type of thing we are looking for:

So, what do you say boys?

text: are you better than a monkey? if you are, theres a game waiting for you at gameaday.co.uk
people will think that they are smarter than a monkey (yeah right) and go to the site hoping to win, when they're there they will enter cheats, reviews and posts and also start to buy things, and maybe even join the club.
That's a winner for sure CDouch
Thanks - i hope i win, i could do with a new game ( gta 3 or smackdown 3)
im going to go think up more ideas
> Hmmm...I would have thought taht to be a bit expensive though??
Maybe but any a small VB game i mean. Perhaps just one to download.
A actual game that has something to do with SR. For example...
Sammy Reserve had never won gameaday before. The idea of winning excited Sammy so he decided to write a review to see if he could win. He spent ages writing this review but just as he had finished a evil person named Pro Evo stole the review and tore it up!You have to help Sammy go around finding pieces which make up the review he wrote. Once all the pieces are found Sammy can enter GAD and have a chance of winning. The more succesful you are the more your chance of winning is. By being succesful (completing levels in a fast time) you earn a weapon. The more succesful you are the more weapons you get. At the end of the game you must fight the GAD master. You can use your weapons to beat him with but the more weapons you have the easier it is. Once you complete the game Sammy becomes a GAD winner. A FMV appears showing past GAD winners(Me, CDouch, PB ect)in a room called the hall of fame. Sammy enters the hall of fame and a statue is made in his honour to be placed there. Then large writing appears saying 'You helped Sammy.. Now it's YOUR turn. Visit www.ukgames.com for more info.' If you get people who can't be bothered to complete the game and get to this bit then you could have something at the game over/demo exit screen saying 'You may not have helped Sammy, but theres no reason why you can't win GAD. Visit www.ukgames.com for more info.'
This could be made into a little game that is on PC Gamer, opsm2 or another mags demo disk. If not you could display the story in a cartoon strip format on a advert.
