Timesplitters 2

I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.

So go on what have you been playing? and why?

I've been playing Ocarina of Time. There was nothing on my Gamecube that I fancied playing so I got it out. Bloody shadow temple, it is evil.

Ah thanks! I'll take that into consideration when I decided to pick up where I left off in my 3rd game (I think Asgard ranch).

To get Kratos you gotta decline Collete and all others until you hear a voice from outside and accept to go out and see who it is. Kratos chats and you get alot of backstory, as well as a talisman from Lloyd's mother instead of the Rabbit foot.

Anyone you decline will seriously not like you afterwards (there's a funny skit you get if you decline Collete where she decides you're just like Zelos with the ladies :S). Anyhoo, this way when Zelos betrays you, he really does and you have to slaughter the bast'. And Kratos joins your party following that. Sorted.

If you accept any other person of course Zelos betrays you but changes his mind and comes back, and the person you chose goes on the journey with Lloyd at the end to collect Exspheres.

There are actually only three luck charms- the one from Kratos if you decline all others, the Rabbit Foot from Collete if you pick her, and one from Zelos if you pick him. All of the others you don't get anything (presumabably so you don't have to go through the game 9 times to get 100% items).

Do you not accept to see anyone even Collete?
Also when this happens you also get a different Luck Charm (colette's rabbits foot) which is unique to each different ending, so if you continue the items and monsters list into the next go through you will eventually get 100% discovery.

BTW on my second game (Super Hard) I finished the game at level 86, and around 80 hours.

No. In that time I beat the game and fought the Sword Dancer all three times, got all of the costumes (takes a while but is pretty funny. Sheena in bathing suit.. *dribbles*), completely rebuilt Luin (costing about 300,000 Gald..), beat the Underworld Book Dungeon, beat the two extra Summon Spirits (is one necessary? I forget :S), collected all of the Devil's Arms and whupped Abyssion's ass.

I always do sidequests. Waste of a great game and my money if I don't, which is why I saved before the Flanoir doctor's scene (which decides whether (*spoilers*) Kratos rejoins your party and you fight and kill Zelos or not) so I can go through the last five or so hours of the game again to see the other ending.

I just bought the original Pikmin and I've been playing that. I need 17 parts in 18 days but the pieces are harder to find in the forest navel.

I do most of the side quests I guess.

I spend most of the time in dugeons or leveling up in the field.

I might play it a 3rd time just for that alternate stuff :D it's still enjoyable the second time round.

Hey gamesfreak no worries - you're not even a third of the way through yet. I won't tell you why (major spoilerisms) but seriously, you have *ALOT* left to do.

It's a great game, and very long. My final save was 50+ hours.
