Timesplitters 2

I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.

So go on what have you been playing? and why?

very true very true. You don't actually need the hover boots to defeat Bongo Bongo. I guess that it is the one exception.

Actually, if I remember correctly, the lens of truth is found in the well in Kakariko Village and you find the hover boots in the temple and you don't need them to defeat Bongo Bongo.

But still, it's true that a lot of the temple is based around the lens of truth so I should of thought about it.

The whole dungeon is based around the lens of truth! Whenever you acquire a new item in a dungeon it's always the key to defeating the boss, without fail.

I just tried again and beat him with ease. The problem last time was that I didn't think about using the lens of truth to see and hit the red eye.

Just check your map, I'm sure there's a quicker way. Also, why don't you have bottles full of fairies to re-animate you if you run out of hearts?

A: Losing to Bongo Bongo is the most embarrasing thing I've EVER heard.

B: Farore's wind is a spell you can cast which allows you to warp to that point if you die or find yourself miles away from it.

Short cut? The way I used was to go over the passage in the first room with the hover boots, follow the corridor and go through the door straight ahead, go down the ramps and kill the Skullatas, pass through the guillotine room with the staflos in it, enter the room with the invisible spikes, go in to the room with the fans and make your way to the section with the boat, play Zelda's lullaby, kill the Staflos, jump off, cross the bridge, enter the room to the right, cross the chasm, enter the boss room.

To me that is a trek and it's the shortest way I can see.

:' ( you should have made a shortcut with Farore's wind. Anyway the entrance isn't that far from the Boss.

I didn't work out what to do until I had about three hearts left. Now I can't be bothered to make the trek back to his lair.
