Timesplitters 2

I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.

So go on what have you been playing? and why?

Beyond Good & Evil

Damn this game is good. Almost at the end, with most of the pearls. Don't really want it to end, which can't be said of a lot of the games I play, made all the worse because there probably won't be a sequel *sigh*

From what I remember of the Shadow Temple there is a shortcut to the big room with the boat that is accessible in the rooms you use the lens of truth on to see which pair of eyes has a hidden door behind. You had to make sure that once you got to the boat room once you open up the shortcut so you can access it afterwards so you can make the journey much much shorter. Also i wouldn't say Bongo bongo is the easiest boos, coz I think the Fire temple boss is the simplest, and the Spirit temple the next easiest.

I know I'd pick it up. Perhaps Konami could cash in after Resi 4 brings survival horror to Gamecube.

We'll see.

With the re-release of a resi games being fairly successful a re-issuing of the Silent Hills might happen too. Wouldn't mind grabbing 1-3 at a budget price.

Hmmmm I like resi's control system, using the C-stick on the Gamecube allows you to turn 180 degrees with a flick.

I do like Silent Hill, I used to play it with me girlfriend, she loved the game!

I must say, I'd love to see it on the Gamecube. With the success of Resi and Nintendo's new found friendship with Konami it isn't impossible.

Unlikely but not impossible.

From playing the Silent Hill 4 demo I was impressed by the fact you could flipturn 180 degrees in a nanosecond (unlike Resi "excuse me while I wheel slowly round this 180 degree turn so the zombie can kill me" Evil) and there was plenty of ammo and weapons at hand.

Plus the story moved along at a faster pace and it seemed genuinely creepy.

What a game, I love Silent Hill.

Still prefer Resident Evil in terms of storyline but Silent Hill's an excellent game :D

Resident Evil 2...maybe because its the only GC game I currently have or maybe because its uttter class.
