I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.
So go on what have you been playing? and why?

Second Disc? I thought consoles were past all that multi disc stuff?

Totally agree with XIII. Haven't bothered with Metal Arms just yet.

Yeah been slamming through it... how satisfying is smashing some dude round the head with a chair or a spade.
Great game.
For most of you who probably don't know, this is a prequel to No One Lives Forever 2. It uses the same engine and all, but it feels very different to the NOLF games.
Hrmmm...I suppose the best way to sum it up is Doom, with comedy injected in it... and nicer graphics. At first I sorta hated it, but its grown on me.
I've also been playing Grabbed by the Ghoulies.
I'm sure you all know this is Rare's first X-box outing, and it really is very reminiscent of Luigi's Mansion. However, it's much longer and much better. You can pick up almost anything, ranging from burgers to brooms, and all you have to do is move the Right thumbstick to whack one of the ghoulies with it. Great combat, great game. I always thought having a thumbstick for the Jedi Knight games to control the lightsaber would be great, but then you lose the ability of being able to look about. Although, come to think of it, Metroid Prime managed to deal with it...
I should patent that idea, then wait or somebody to go and steal it. Then I'll do a Sega and try'n sue 'em...
