I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.
So go on what have you been playing? and why?
I love this game. It's just like Paper Mario on the N64; only, it's on the GBA, you control the Mario Bros. simultaneously, and... it's 'different'.
I have to reccomend it to any Super Mario, RPG or Paper Mario fan. :)
It looks great, it plays well, and it even sounds great. I love the all the 're-workings' of the classic `Super Mario Bros.´ music - especially the stuff from the dungeon levels. And with humour, some Pingu-like voices for the brothers, and odd-jobs like 'fixing the plumbing', this is a great adventure for your GameBoy Advance. :)
Oh, and I've been playing-around on some new NES games on Animal Crossing, thanks to some codes from www.gamesfaqs.com . And I now think that Wario's Woods deserves some kind of 'next-gen. update'! :)
I really don't like this game! I played the previous version back at the end of September, and I didn't like it then, either. Although, it all seemed to make sense, back then.
But this new installment... It plays so-well, but still manages to let me down and destroy my life - just in-time for Christmas!
I was really looking forward to it; expecting it to be a fail-proof, thinking maybe things would be better than with the last one... But no!
I await the third-installment of this incredibley-frustrating, life-shattering "Game". Although, from what I hear, I'll be waiting the best part of 3 months, WELL-into 2004...!! :@ :(
But on my GameCube, I've gotten P'd-off in Skies of Arcadia in that Ixa'Taka temple; unlocked and completed the All-Cup Tour in Mario Kart, and won some more games, top-of-the-table, with Leeds in Winning Eleven 6. Still need to play F-Zero, though...
Online should be better.
It does indeed look quality.
I have been mostly playing 1080 Avalanche and it is pretty good.
And I have FINALLY finished Mario Kart. XIII and True Crime tomorrow no doubt.
As well as watching Pirates of the Caribbean at least 3 times :D
