Timesplitters 2

I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.

So go on what have you been playing? and why?

Advance Wars 2

Pretty much the same as the first in everyway. But something I read somewhere about the game sums this up - "Why fix something which isn't broken?"

And considering I had to part with my completed Advance Wars which I loved dearly (deleting the saved game data was painful), I decided to get number 2 for cheaper then usual rather then play through the first again.

Yes its the GC version and its actually quite a fun little game despite (like you rightly say) some slowdown here and there... i have only done 1 Hot pursuit so far, ive mostly been playing the Championship races that you dislike so much :P

Turok is a good game but if it has 1 fault that i cannot let go then it has to be the fact that you cannot save mid level with the exception of a couple of the flying levels (which are frustrating anyway) the grpahics in Turok are not state of the art but i have no problem with them, the animated dinosaurs are a pure joy and ive experienced very little of the so-called poor AI.

Both good games in their own little ways.

Yes!! You're the only other person I know who has this game! :D

...You do have the GameCube version, right?

As crap as the graphics and frame-rate are in this game, I still found it great fun avoiding and humiliating the fat-basta'd Cops. :)

...It was just a shame when I finally completed all the `Hot Pursuit“ challenges, and was left with only the standard racing ones... Which, because of the games 'problems', didn't keep me entertained for very-long.

A prime-example of why you shouldn't neccesarily judge a game on its appearence (unlike NGC and co.)! :) Plus, it's got a great soundtrack.
I'll be looking to get `Underground“ soon, aswell.

And I have Turok: Evolution, too. I bought it off SR for £9.99 about 2-months-ago, but still haven't even considered putting it in my 'Cube yet! :)

But lately, all I've been playing (aside from Winning Eleven) is Mario and Luigi on the GBA. Just done that Woohoo Hooniversity bit - which had a great refference to the original Donkey Kong in it - and have now gained some Fire and Electriciy for Mario and... "Mr.Green". ;)

Currently hoplessly addicted to XIII.. now in the cable car sniping :) Great fun, lots of varied missions, top-notch conspiracy style plot. Two problems though are the loading times (too long, too often) and having to repete large sections if you die near the end of a stage, as checkpoints are few and far between.

I've been playing Sega Soccer Slam. A very fun game.

Have not got a new GC game in ages. Christmas will change that though, should be getting Mario Kart, F-Zero and Simpsons Hit and Run, amongst other DVDs and random stuff.

Also hopefully I've got Virtua Tennis 2 and Crazy Taxi 2 for my DreamCast.

Christmas will rock.
