Shigeru Miyamoto is the today the video game equivalent of Mick Jagger. In other words: he is (like Yoshi) - a dinosaur.
Yes, his early games were works of genius, but since then he has produced virtually nothing but sequels and updates. His ideas dried up years ago. Mario 'this', Zelda 'that' - today he's just living off the back of his early originality.
Just what is he working on at the moment? I don't know, but let me take a wild guess: another Mario game perhaps? Another Zelda game? Jeez, change the bloody record! That rainbow world of silly characters has had its day. Move on man!
In ten years time what will he be doing? - I think we know the answer to that don't we?
At the moment we are seeing his old games being rehashed and re-packaged on the GBA and sold for 35 quid a pop. Am I the only person on the planet who thinks this is a rip-off?
To Miyamoto I say this : turn your obviously talented hand to something new, something fresh. Quit resurrecting exhausted ideas from the dust of yesterday's bones. Do something original like you used to. Cease the repetition of old visions. Stop the monotony!

So was I!
I said that they would have update it before release....a staright port from the arcade would not sell!
And then I said that they should release it with a copy of cosmic smash... even if it's just the arcade version.
That would be cool!

Heh, I already have!
You should find out about some of those. Some are truly bonkers!
Jax and Daxter - looking great but hardly original.
It just has a trick for getting rid of loading times.
Herdy Gerdy - very original (although how you PS2 owners haven't slated it as a "kiddie" game after what so many of you said about Nintendo is beyond me...)
Not as original as Pikmin though.
I'll keep an eye out on the others to see if something special does pop up.
Ephemeral Fantasia
Freak out
Gift
Kuri Kuri Mix
GoDai
Jak and Daxter
Pirates of Skull Cove
Dinoz
Exo
Herdy Gerdy
Ico
Rez
Run Like Hell
Stuntman
The Lost
The Thing
Knights
And that's the highest standard of original titles. If I wanted to be picky, I could add another 50 onto that list.
So, can you please show me all the original titles coming to the GameCube?
