Somewhere in the region on £800.
Now I am taking my girlfriend to Paris, buying a fridge (possibly the little one from SR) and adopting a loris from London Zoo.
But that leaves me with about £500 at least to spend, if not £600.
So should I get an Xbox?
I already have Splinter Cell on GC and any mulitformat games I would just buy on that.
Should I use some of my money on an box?
I bought the Xbox because it's got a great future. After getting off to a shaky start, it's really going to come into it's own when the likes of Knights of the Old Republic, Deus Ex 2, PGR 2 et al are released. It may not look too impressive right now, but just you wait.
The future's bright, the future's dark green..
You will fall victim to the dark green side...
Aha. Hmm. Yes. Well. Go for it.

I already have an excellent Multiregion DVD player from SR, so I do not need another one
> Its got Xbox Live.
I have neverbeen interested in online gaming, but I'm getting broadband installed on tuesday, so I might look into it. Although I don't like the idea of subscription fees.

I don't have any speakers so I wouldn't be able to appreciate it. I'm not very big on sound. I don't realy care that much about it.

When I first played Halo I didn't like it, but it sort of grew on me a little bit. I've heard that the later levels are absolute cack though. As for Morrowind, I always considered getting it on the PC, but never did because I never had enough money or time. If I were to get it on anything, it would be on PC.
> Fable -
This is like Halo, right?
> Project Gotham Racing 2
I have MSR on the Dreamcast, and I never really thought it was that great. PGR didn' t really appeal to me.

I'm not too sure about shooters on the Xbox. Half Life 2, Doom 3 will both be excellent games, I'm sure, but I would prefer to get them on PC. Having said that, my PC wouldn't be able to run them as well as the Xbox will, but the controls (for me) will be greatly improved. And if I got them on Xbox would play them a lot more, I'm sure of it.

I had this
> Vice City - It haz gunz!!111!
I think Vice City is pretty terrible. It gets really tedious after around 20 minutes.
> Dead or Alive 3
I played DoA 2 quite a lot, and I'm not sure whether I'd really want this, as it's much the same
> Moto GP2
I haven't played Moto GP, but I heard it was quite good. I like racing games, but I don't REALLY like them if you see.
> gerrid = xbox ninty
possibly. I want more things to convince me,
The main problem is that I feel like I can get all the best things of the Xbox on something I already own.
I could just buy a nice new graphics card for my PC and watch it work wonders on H-L2 nd Doom 3 and so on, even though an Xbox is probably cheaper.

It's a man thing.
You wonder why men are so interested in technology...

Yep. Exactly. Thats why I purchased a Cube.
Also - Gerrid - You pimping your girlfriend for all that money? Your sick you are...But it's worth Xbox.
>The Xbox is sexy.
It doesn't turn me on.
It's a great bed fellow for Cube, both have very different styles of games and compliment each other well.
Oh and it's looking likely that Shenmue 3 will be released on Xbox.
