Aside from the average sounding Alien vs Predator game are there any other RTS games in progress for Xbox?
Link up would be perfect for these aswell.
Can't be bothered with the little babies anymore.
:D
gamezfreak has the right idea.
Its about the controls and nothing else. However with Condition Zero hopefully running fine on my PC I can't see myself shelling out for a Keyboard and mouse just to match up with every other gamer in the world playingf at the same time.
The developer is building it with the Xbox in mind.

Ye sure you can, thats why you were nearly crying yesterday when you were going on about how crap PC online gaming was. Big whoo you set up a home Network with a firewall, do you want a medal? Thats got nothing to do with the fact you can't get Counter Strike setup. Maybe if you had you wouldn't be such an ignorant testicle and actually consider that it may be good when played on a regular basis.
Read it but once again you stray way off the point to a post which I cleared up earlier today. I aren't the one who struggles to set an online game up though online to get an organism and start ranting around the point.
The point originally was that Counter Strike won't work on the Xbox but as you are so clever at moving the focus away onto something which was cleared up.
Stupid? Just looking at the sensible side. Maybe if you weren't making a massive hash over setting up Counter Strike you may stop and think "maybe he does have a point". Oh no you neer back down even though you don't play Counter Strike on the PC on a regular basis.
I don't think it will work on the PC without a keyboard and mouse. I thought I would get back to the original point instead of gasping on and getting all excited about something none related?
Is that understood Mr. Bell?
Alastair doesn't. His comment "So you are basically saying I am a retard with no life because I enjoy playing Counter Strike?" - to which I'd have said no - was swiftly undermined by his crying that I didn't reply in an instant...
What about you and your WW2 make up facts as you go along post eh ? Shrank from that pretty rapidly. I'll stop there, Life's the forum for nit picking each others posts to bits and laughing at fictional facts...
You're stupid Alastair, it's blindingly obvious I can set the game up, if I can set up a home network and router with firewall and stuff then a lame PC game is little problem, it's the play experience itself that sucks big time. I don't want ot be shepherded onto a newbie server, I don't want morons talking like it's their mobile or thinking they're clever for using asci or other stupid made up words, I want real time voice chat, with normal (ish) people, where I can easily play games with people I get to know, whatever game they are on, and that seamlessly slips from game to game, online or offline. No searching for a bunch of people with broadband, everyone on Live is on broadband, and the fact you have to pay and can't hack it means the nerd/hacker/'tard factor is low.
It's not just CS either, Warcraft 3 - whilst working well - is pointless. Every game identical - build base, build units, one player has nerve to seek out others base hoping to have enough to kill in one go, succeeds - wins - or fails, in which case other players storms to his base to finish him before he rebuilds. Same goes for C=C Generals. Raven Shield is crap - bugged to hell, FPS all over the place, every patch causes more problems than solved for most users. Blackhawk down - crap, would be good if the PC gamers could understand this communication thing.
A decent bunch of Ghost Recon Live players are in constant communication, it adds to the experience and makes a better game, and does not impeded on gameplay. Whats more, no stupid application needed to do this, no extra subs, £40 a year gets you Live - I've criticisd it in the past, but now I see what MS were fighting to change and I see how excellent Live is.
Ironic eh ? I get a new PC which can handle any online game no problem, technically, and depite buying new games for it, playing them online makes me reaise how excellent some of my £170 Xbox's games really are....
