That comment made me chuckle!

Someone should forward it to Nintendo Japan.

What I said was, we know Nintendo can advertise.

Sure, they've made mistakes (Ocarina of Time, for example), but they've got talent when it comes to advertising - the GBA SP and Pokemon schemes are proof of that. The problem that everyone complains about is the lack of advertising. Sure, they can make adverts, it's just they're scarce.

They can do quality, people just want quantity.

Is it just me, Cooky, Memo, Bell, Totoro, gerrid and Tiltawhirl who have their heads screwed on about this subject?

The Gamecube will go down under if they don't do anything fast, Face the facts.

Pull that SNES cartridge out of your rectum and smell the coffee kids.

- Nintendo stops production of Cube's
- Gamecube not selling too good outside of Japan
- Nintendo closing down on import shops
- High street stores dump the gamecube (Argos/Dixons etc)
- Nintendo seem to think GC/GBA thing will sell the console, it won't
- Nintendo think "less challenging" games will sell more, they won't
- Nintendo's advertising/marketing is awful
- Nintendo currently sits in 3rd place.

I've no idea about the seasons anymore; I thought Autumn started in August. Officially it's September, then?

So my estimate of late August, early September would be correct?

I laugh at Nintendo!

They will never learn!

They will go down the same road Sega did!

Next console war; PS3, Xbox2, and that other dodgy console which is suppose to be coming out!

Three of my mates have now decided they want a Gamecube now due to two things; Mario Golf being so darn fine, and news that Mario Kart is nearly here.

And two of these guys were big Sony fanboys, which makes this news even better.

I'm sure there will be plenty of other people, as maddmun said, that will be wanting a Gamecube now that Mario Kart is almost here.

Mario Kart is as big a name in the gaming world as GTA, Halflife etc.

Mario Kart will sell loads, providing Nintendo tell Joe Public about it.
