It's practically impossible to say who's in 3rd place at the moment because the consoles are so equally matched in sales figures.

You clearly haven't read up on the game at all.
It's main feature is the connectivity. TO get the most out of the game you'll need a GBA and 3 friends who also own GBA's. The game will be nearly as shallow as Phantasy Star Online is when you play it alone. Also as the game is designed to be controlled with a GBA, combat will use the A and B buttons and that's it. It's a major departure from the normal Final Fantasy games, there's no turn-based combat, it uses a very simple real-time combat system which sounds a bit cack.
Square and Nintendo really c0cked up on this.

I corrected it for you. It sells enough everywhere else.

They still get the sales.

But they're crap anyway.

I agree with that, and they don't expect it to either, it's like thinking that a controller will sell it.

Yes they will, the majority of gamers suck. Fact.

Except in Japan, where it rocks.

But, the Gamecube sells more than the X-Box in America, and everything sells better than the X-Box in Japan.
Thre are a few hundred thousand more Gamecubes across the globe than there are X-Boxes.
And Nintendo still profit from every sale.
Something that didn't happpen with Sega.
*sigh
Well I still think Iwata is the "Comical Ali" of the gaming world.
Comical Iwata - "Gamers from Nintendo have e-mailed us regarding their opinion on how we are doing. I can assure you they re all happy with what we are doing"
