The French Grand Prix is officially moving after 2007. They are looking into new venues. Ecclestone likes the idea of them thundering through Paris but seems like Disneyland is the current favourite.
Ron Dennis is seemingly in troulbe with the FIA; I can see how his tactics can be seen as team orders, but to be perfectly honest it's a strategy and policy that they've had for years. Still, I wonder what will happen.
The Honda strategy was puzzling to say the least. If they had done the one stop strategy that the fuel they started with suggested, they would have been in the points.
Raikkonen did fairly well but things never really worked out well, getting stuck behind Button at the start and then Heidfeld coming out the pits in front of him.
The next 2 races have been bogey tracks for Alonso and could be key to the Championship.
There was an inevitability that someone was going to lose out because of traffic. Coulthard looks like he's going to get a hefty penalty for blocking Kovalainen by starting 16th.
I don't think there is a lot of difference between Alonso and Hamilton. It'll depend on who has the most fuel as usually the advantage lies on the car going in the pits 2nd, if they can stay close.
Still an 80% chance of light rain tomorrow so strategy could be crucial as teams won't want to make a pit stop solely for tyres.
