I want somewhere to stick my thoughts on the Formula 1 season as it progresses so I'm going to do that here. Feel free to join me if you want.

Button doesn't say what he thinks. Well, he certainyl didn't during qualifying. After Louise interviewed him (JB), Damon Hill said something along the lines of "If Jenson is too loyal to say it, then I will. The car's crap he deserves better etc..."

Drivers never say what they think when they are going for the title. It's usually only drivers near the end of their career or drivers near the back (for instance Button) who say what they think, mostly because the car is rubbish.

Damon Hill used to admit when he made a mistake at the end of his career and Coulthard is doing the same now.

An interesting weekend. Shame we missed out on a top race by the stewards sticking their noses in. Would have been far more entertaining to have Lewis/Alonso on the front row.

Also, I'm starting to get annoyed by lewis always taking the company line. Say what you think not what you're told to say!

A very controlled race by Hamilton. Raikkonen put him under pressure for the majority but he seemed in control the entire time.

Alonso was always going to have trouble overtaking and 4th is not a bad result considering the start and the seemingly endless driving behind Ralf.

It was an embarrassing race for Honda. They got beaten by the Spyker.

7 point lead for Hamilton with 6 races to go. Ferrari with the advantage I would think in the coming races so you would think that it could still go to a Ferrari driver too.

The stories just don't make a lot of sense and to have 'conflict' between the lollipop guy and the race engineer just confuses it further.

Fisichella down 5 places too due to his blocking of Yamamoto. Now that's a penalty fully deserved.

Mixed feelings about this really. The thought of Alonso throwing a temper tantrum over this amuses me alot. On the other hand, its just more FIA meddling. I expect they have regulations to cover sneezing too.

Just watched a little highlight of it on youtube. You can tell Alonso is looking over at one of his team and then when the guy steps back that's when he goes. Quite suspicious seeing as in all my watching of F1 as soon as that lollypop goes up the driver goes, he doesn't sit there looking at another member of the team

Despite Ron Dennis blaming Hamilton for not letting Alonso go ahead of him at the start of Q3 and that being the reason Hamilton had to queue, Alonso will be moving 5 places down the grid, according to reports.

McLaren won't be scoring any Constructors Championship points this race either.

They are basically putting the blame on Alonso and McLaren, well, a certain section of McLaren anyway.

That was clearly deliberate by Alonso, Ron Dennis was furious and you all saw Hamiltons response in the Press Conference.

Alonso was a very naughty boy today. In my opinion, sitting in the pit lane when your teammate is waiting behind, being told to go and delibrately stopping your teammate getting a second run is tantamount to blocking a driver out on the track. That's a penalty in my book.

Anyway, Hamilton was the fastest by at least a quarter of a second. Raikkonen has struggled all weekend so far and having Heidfeld ahead and being on the dirty side of the grid for the start, he could have a difficult race.

Fisichella was naughty too when he had blocked Yamamoto so I think his 8th place will go.

Rosberg and Webber did well, the Honda car is a complete joke and Massa will have a lot of work to do. Massa was very weird. Car stopped in the pit lane, wheeled back and started again only to be off the pace by a fair bit.

I'm hoping for a bit of fallout here. Exciting.
