Just a thread to discuss snooker if anyone else is a fan like me.

Premier League Snooker starting up again on Thursday. Jimmy White takes on Ding Junhui and John Higgins takes on Ronnie O'Sullivan.

Wow, i'm suprised Dale won something.

Indeed, very good performance from Dale; and a good way to use up a night in the Holiday Inn Express in Cologne!

Winning the last 8 frames was was a superb display from Dale and he deserved the crown.

Day just needs to forget about the loss as it will have done his confidence no good at all.

The new season has started and Dominic Dale won the Shanghai Masters title. That's his first title in 10 years.

Thats what I think should be the top 16.

Obviously, the World Championship win factors into the picture as the rankings are based on 2 years worth of performances. Dott has had a very consistent year and I think he won the China Cup this past season, which makes him number 2 in the world.

How is Graeme Dott at number two? Granted, he won it last year, he was the best of a bad bunch but other than that he's never done anything! I fully expected MCcullouch to beat him, which he did.
