Can Microsoft not think up any ideas of a new crime gang game.Why do Microsoft have to copy PS2?

They two series' on PS2 which I particularly enjoy are the Tenchu games and the awesome Devil May Cry. The IGN review for DMC is spot on and I am a firm believer that it is worth getting a PS2 just to enjoy the delights of one of the finest modern video games you are likely to see. The 2-D scroller 'beat em ups' were all combined with the Resident Evil style atmosphere, Dead or Alive style animations and a completely unique weapons system which makes it one of the most delightful and enjoyable titles not only on the PS2 but on the market in gerenal. Up there with Deus EX Donkey Kong, Halo and Zelda: Wind Waker with my all time personal favourites

I have to say the Xbox has wrenched the FPS shooter title away from Nintendo. I really liked my N64 for it's FPS games but now Microsoft can't seem to get enough of them.

I wouldn't take such a limited view of the GC if I were you.

Zelda OOT is easily my best single player game ever.

Where do you get highest quality of ratios from? I am just talking about the PSONE in general. I enjoyed the Syphon Filter series, Metal Gear, Gran Turismo 1 + 2, Hot Shots Golf, Tekken 1 - 3, Tenchu series, Driver series, Tomb Raider 1 - 3, Ape Escape, Medal of Honor and a few other games. For me the PSONE was a god send as at the time the Saturn was doing badly and the Dreamcast was too expensive.

A lot of the quality games bleed onto the GC and Xbox. This is good as I have little need for a PS2.

It's quite frustrating really. An alternative controller would have made me pick up a PS2 by now if only for a few select games...

alastair. you know im right in saying that the gamecube is for kids. i mean you really do have to look at the games. mario, wario, smashbrothers etc. the only good ones you have are the multi console titles that are also on the ps2. so keep quiet you fool. the xbox is not as bad. i far prefer it to the cube. it has some ok games on it.

It was the perfect final comment to cap off his inferior knowledge of gaming outside of the company he clearly loves too much. What annoyed me first time around with the PS2 was the ratio of bad games to good games. Now however with a Cube and Xbox as well I manage to bypass the bad ones (a lot of them as well) and only go for the top exclusives. When I get bored of a console I move onto another one until the calendar picks up.

Yes you're right. The PSone definately had the highest quality ratio of all the 32 bit consoles...

Most of the Playstation games are. I'd rather have 'some' than 'most'.

Best marketed. Wouldn't agree on naything else mind.
