There won't be a MGS3, A guy working on MGS2 said Hideo Kojima wants to work on other projects although in a few years time Snake may make another comeback :-)

Anyway, as Slaveunit said, the demo of GT3 was no where near as good as the actual game, and considering I believe that Hideo Kojima is the best games developer in the world, I'm sure the game will be better than the demo...although, the demo was so good, it's hard to believe.

Sony has dealt a massive blow to Nintendo with this price drop. No doubt by Christmas there will be packages available, maybe including the HDD, or extra pads, games etc, for a ridiculously cheap price. Sony will clear up this christmas.
I would guess a large number of "casual gamers" would get a PS2 between now and the end of the year.
Where does that leave Nintendo? With the hardcore group that will always buy Nintendo's stuff, and maybe a few extra people.
Most casual gamers will see the price of the PS2, the list of titles available now and in the next few months, and think "I can't be bothered to wait 'til next year, I'll get me a PS2 now instead."

Nope it is still Nintendo's card and why?
First it is still less in America and Japan and it could cost less than £200.

I have never once read that MGS2 is PS2 exclusive and NGC magazine still believes it likly to be a GC game aswell, are you sure it is exclusive.

It's about time Ninties stood up for what they believed it! The PS2 may have a few more games, but who cares, most of them are crap... and mean what in the blue heel is Fantavision... what? they mixed disney with 'Standard' fireworks and stole the idea from a game that you can play on Sky Active?
There are LOADSSSSSSS of crap PS2 games, just like there were with the PSX. Developers will die and franchises will be come defunct, all because greedy SONY think they can have all the games they want on their crappy console.
Well, they're not getting Star Fox, Mario, Zelda, Yoshi, DK, Kameo, Metroid, or any other of the Nintendo owned characters! So roll that in some SCEE pastry and eat it! I bet it tasted crap!

I'd rather spend the money on skittles and spend all day handing them out to the millions that will inevitably be lining up outside HMV, Woolworths and Special reserve waiting to trash the PS2's they have in stock... £199, I'd rather spend it on a new Panasonic TV, pah! Sony won't know what's hit them!

I'll be getting a Gamecube, and I'll take it round to my friends house where i'll tell it to beat up the PS2... Oh yes!
