Most of them were slightly shoddy unfinished versions from the 4 months old E3.
Even the most develloped ones like Luigi's Mansion and Pikmin didn't have nearly as much detail and features as the later demos from Spaceworld had.
It would've been nice to have seen the updated versions instead.
Hold on, I just shouted 'woohooo' so yes, I do look stupid.
Doh'
:)
It had that quality that only Rare games have.
(Now somebody's gonna tell me it's not developed by Rare but by Ubi-Soft or someone, hehe)
:)
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!
We are only a 6 months away from the GameCube now and I bought NGC magazine today so I got the new video which has made me very happy. Not as impressed as I thought I'd be but there is no way I'm getting a PS2 now!
All it needs now is MGS2 (NO CHANCE me thinks but I can always dream) and a decent racing game. Perhaps an improved version of World Driver Championship since I'm not too excited about Ridge Racer on GC. In fact, that was a bit of an understatement. I'm not bothered at all that it's being released.....but Soul Calibur 2 though. Now there's something I'm excited about.
Once I get Shenmue 2, I'm finished with my Dreamcast. All I hope is that Sega (or Apaloosa - what the hell kind of name is that!) release Ecco the Dolphin 2 on GC as Ecco is by far the best game on the Dreamcast.
And that Kameo: Elements of Power (or something) looks very promising. Who is developing it? Does anyone know? Please not Ubi-Soft, please not Ubi-Soft!
There was no footage of Rogue Squadron 2 though which was very disappointing. I was looking forward to seeing a video of that. Wave Race: Blue Storm though, looked absolutely quality especially how rain drops would land on the screen and blur your vision. Fantastic!
Still, even though Zelda changed, Starfox: Dinosaur Planet looks just like the old zelda which is good. Now we have two choices.....the new Zelda (in the form of Zelda, surprisingly) and the old Zelda (in the form of Starfox). Which one will be better? Usually I'd say Zelda without hesitation, but I can't get over this new look. And there's still a bit of flying around in space like in Lylat War which makes it look even better.
I 'm more excited now, than ever.
