"New OXM demo disk...."

Is actually suprisingly worth the price of the magazine.

The demo's are

Rainbow Six 3 - The mutts, only played it a couple of times but it rocks. Online this game will be soooooo sweet.
Dino Crisis 3 - Haven't played, probably won't bother
Voodoo Vince - Another cack handed platform game
Freedom Fighters - Goodish shooty squad game
Tiger Woods 2004 - Golfing excellence
Finding Nemo - No idea
NFL Fever 2004 - No idea
Rolling - Okay Tony Hawks style game, but what's the point? there's so many of these stupid carbon copies around.

Oh and there's the Kola Cell level for Splinter Cell and a view video's and stuff.

It's worth the price alone for the Rainbow Six 3 demo, it rocks. It's the Alcatraz level, mucho like scene from 'The Rock'.

It said it wasn't out untill 2nd of october- oh well i'll get it on friday.

I told you R63 would be the nuts. I love all tom clancy games in general anyway.

Oh and Alaistar, the fact you can't see your weapon in Ghost Recon games makes no difference, its still a great game.

Too true, but it's still nice to be ble to see them.

Out of intrest what gun does everyone use to do the demo with?

Can't remember what I use but it's some kind of machine gun with a scope on it.....so that would be pretty much the majority of the guns then.

Guff Recon though has a terrible single player, regardless of whether you can see the gun or not.

Being able to see the gun adds the extra feel of an arcade game. Ghost Recon is too serious for its own good and aside from LIVE its boring as hell. Rainbow Six 3 though looks to have a decent single player game which is pretty rare of a game of this nature.

Goatboy, I've just bought it and the whole level is on the disk, and you just copy it to a saved game and then load up splinter cell as usual. The extra level will be in the level selection bit of the saved game

The voice commmand thing is seriously iffy, hopefully better in the final version. Have to say I'm not entirely convinced Rainbow Six 3 is a brilliant game, I've played, and had more fun with, the Freedom Fighters demo more.

Freedom Fighters is undoubtably one of the best games this year. Very special.
