Like IGN said when you start of you have a low status and if you go to challenge HHH he won't be there because your character isn't worth the effort and is beneath HHH. Once you get further and get more status then HHH will pay attention to your challenges.
You have to be a threat to provoke a response.

And it reflects how titles are sometimes won by wrestlers cheating. Obviously the fact that it comes up as disqualified is a bit off putting but when I used to watch wrestling people won by cheating all the time, and they still do.
I've had another thorough play today and it is, in my book, greater than WWF No Mercy, which is THE wrestling title. The DQ title changing is a bit shoddy, but means that you can't just keep retaining the title through cheating the system. I'd highly recommend this to people seeking an alternative to the highly over-rated Smackdown! series, and the pace of the game is slower and more strategical.

Unless you have a GC/N64/Megadrive/like PC games in which case I can replace Buffy with a different game or 2.
