"How fantastic is skies of Arcadia?"

Despite naff graphics I am loving this Skies game. Picked it up along with 3 other games (see my £50 in cambridge thread) for a mere £19 and I can't imagine a closer RPG alternative to Zelda. Vast, expansive, encourages exploration and a deep story. In fact as storylines go it moves at a far faster pace than that Wind Waker game.

Great game, feels a bit like Starfox to play (not quite sure why) but of course i mean that in a good way.

If you can find it buy it. You won't regret it. Roll on Skies 2.

Still haven't played it since i made this post...

Playing through again, I am kicking boo-tay.

38 hours all done 100%.

37 hours i think for srd timish getting every object except discoveries and a few treasure chests.
I think my first time was 56 hours, but I have no idea about it since i deleted that file ages ago.

I was 60 or 65 ish first time through.

Though I missed quite a few of the extra bits...

go the flu so i thought i'd spend some quality time with my SOA and gamecube. at the moment i'm at the hideout of the king of the tree people (just past the windy bit).

anyway, a few questions:

is the victory music at the end of a battle in SOA the same as the music from super smash bros melee?

also how long did it take you lot to complete the full game?

I think about 6 fish from the time he evolves for the third time. not sure about the talks as they are not in any specific order I have found.
