So lets go!
they might not actaully happen but they are possible major happenings in the film1
Well, at least its keeping me out of trouble!
You also finds loads of stuff about the new series ENTERPRISE as well at that site.
yeah...
Prosper,
okay...
Just don`t keep trashing out a new series after each one finishes - take a break!
But I can't do, I know I joke about misfits that like Trek etc, but it's something your passionate about, and I respect that.
Captain's Log....hur-hur..you gotta admit though that's ripe for sarcasm
Instead we get given a backward hotch-potch series with a cast i can`t get at all excited about, with a Captain who looks like he`s going to Quantum Leap at any minute and a ship that looks like its come from the future, not the past!!.
They say they have down-graded the tech aspect and that much of the beloved gadgets we`re all used to will be seen in their infancy which does hold some appeal, but i fear we`ll get treated to the same old "this bit is broken we can`t go anywhere/save the ship/fire back etc" type stories.
Oh, another couple of things i`ve recently noticed.... have any of your seen the new crew together in any photo`s yet? Is it me or am i getting Voyager Syndrome here because we have a Harry Kim lookalike, a Chakotay double and T`Pol is the Vulcan mix of Seven of Nine and Kes!. Lets not forget Dr Phlox, this character screams all the warning signs normally attached to Talaxians (oh, there goes my Neelix alert again...)
And the uniforms, well great that we should have clothes that have arm patches in keeping with present day and also great that the colour-coding of the different ships departments has gone back to those of the Original series, but hang on...!! what do i see on these OLDER uniforms?
RANK PINS...!!!!!!!
This was first used in the Next Gen series set in the 24th century, Kirks era did not have them although the film uniforms had service year bars on the sleaves, so how the hell can the crew of the new series use them? Did they go out of favour then come back again? is it some mighty c***-up by the bods at Paramount.
Yes, i think it is.
And i also think the whole idea of this series is as well.
