I got a couple of games yesterday :D and I thought I'd share my views on them:

Morrowind:
Kind of frustrating at times because its so damn slow and the damn loading time after you die/revert to last save is so long I almost had time to go for a sheet...... but the whole pikey thing is genius like: in this armor shop this guy serving me wouldn't let me have a real good bow for 1 gold ;) so I shot him with my crappy bow and grabbed something like a pikey and did a runner :D its pretty good fighting but when you keep missing its annoying but smacking a guard around the face with a axe then running is hilarious. has its good and bad points and its a ok game.

Phantom crash:
pretty darn fun I like machine guns and then hold down the back trigger button(s) and pump some lead :) the only bad thing is the absolute crap they talk and the amount of reading you have to do before you start, tis very fun mix of anime and heavily armed robots. Does get repetitive sometimes with all you do is shoot and read but is fun in short bursts. good game.

Just thought I'd share my point of view :)

Ghost Recon is great, I'm warming to Rainbow Six, but it's crap compared to the PC version.

SWAT and Rainbow Six 3 will make people wish they had never played Ghost Recon. It wouldn't actually take a lot to do that but seeing as though these two look like kick a*s games (with your fancy extra modes) and having to put up with stupid AI, poor game menus and boring team control will be put well and truely in the past.

Yes it is quite good doing defend and firefight because you can just mad ;) but the missions are quite boring at times, the ordering about gets annoying and they don't even run far enough when a grenade is thrown which pee-sis me off immensely but I expect much from it on live if I ever get it.

Played LIVE a couple of times and as I have said before, it was better than single player but still not good enough. I played about 5 missions and it was enough to realise its drastically average. It makes squad based combat feel dated and linear. Freedom Fighters allows you to approach each mission in what ever way you want and it makes the experience infinitley better.

The PC version of Ghost Recon is actually better than the Xbox version (minus the control pad) and I have played that more since (got it free with a laptop) and its just boring from stat to finish. You fail to accept that others have opinions about games.

So exactly how far did you get in the game before you decided it was 'boring toss'? Play much Live play? Go through all the difficulty settings? Unlock many of the better soldiers and specialists that kick ass? Unlock the extra modes like where you have to defend locations from an onslaught?

You experience of the game has obviously been very limited and I would say the short amount of time you've spent playing it wasn't enough to fully experience the game.

The Xbox however does not provide enough top quality exclusive games.

Brilliant. Yes thats why I own 3 consoles and a Dreamcast and took my Xbox online just to try and widen my taste in games. The difference being you can play and enjoy average to utter toss games however I won't buy anything that isn't serious top quality.

The difference being Hitman 2 is a top class game and Ghost Recon is boring toss. I love army style games, I enjoy stealth, enjoy online games and generally enjoy Tom Clancy games. Ghost Recon isn't remotely enjoyable.

Rainbow Six 3 on the other hand is going to rock muchly and hopefully it will be the game I hoped Ghost Recon would be.
