Morrowind:
Kind of frustrating at times because its so damn slow and the damn loading time after you die/revert to last save is so long I almost had time to go for a sheet...... but the whole pikey thing is genius like: in this armor shop this guy serving me wouldn't let me have a real good bow for 1 gold ;) so I shot him with my crappy bow and grabbed something like a pikey and did a runner :D its pretty good fighting but when you keep missing its annoying but smacking a guard around the face with a axe then running is hilarious. has its good and bad points and its a ok game.
Phantom crash:
pretty darn fun I like machine guns and then hold down the back trigger button(s) and pump some lead :) the only bad thing is the absolute crap they talk and the amount of reading you have to do before you start, tis very fun mix of anime and heavily armed robots. Does get repetitive sometimes with all you do is shoot and read but is fun in short bursts. good game.
Just thought I'd share my point of view :)
I played about 5

That's enough to write off a whole Xbox game then is it?
It

That's funny. I found Freedom Fighters reminded me a lot of Duke Nukem Zero Hour on the N64 but with squad tactics thrown in. Ghost Recon allows you to pick the weapons you wanted for the mission, lets you select specialists to enhance your team, allows you to complete objectives in the order you decided you wanted to and it lets you control two teams allowing you to set up crossfires and cover a lot easier than the all-too-simple Freedom Fighters command system. Oh and there's also the rather cool co-op mode that makes the title shine a little bit more.

Well I guess you should stick with the more arcadey Freedom Fighters then. Like I said FF's a good game but as far as realism and stealth goes GR beats it hands down.

No. I see someone writing off the Xbox version of the game having only played 5 missions (I assume only on one difficuly setting). Quite frankly I have an opinion on people's opinions of games and I accept you have an opinion on that etc etc.
If you think I'm not going to speak up for games that I enjoy playing then I'm afraid you're going to be sorely dissapointed.
It's not the money issue - it's just the bother of having a room like darth vaders bathroom.
of course with all todays multiformat-ness, things are getting better.
I will soon have 2 consoles however, as I've ordered an N64 for some old classics - but that's different, that and my XBOX are not in direct competition.
I'm sure you couldn't care less :D
Rainbow Six 3 is a breath of freshair in a once 'only for boring people and geeks' domain.

i have 1 console, that doesn't make me less openminded to games it just means i'm not about wasting my money on buying every console for the sake of every single remotely decent game that ever comes out.
Unless I got an exclusive demo of Rainbow Six I saw plenty of evidence of this in the demo ? The team control is crap because there is no way of sending them very far out of sight ! You have to use the reticule to direct them, which means you have to stop scanning for enemies for precious seconds.
Ghost Recon lets you split your guys up all over the place, allowing the use of sniper teams, cover and fire, e.t.c. Sure, there is the Zulu code thing but that's stupid, who ever heard of a 4 man team splitting into a group of 1 and 3 ?
If Ghost Recon could do teams, just like it's PC namesake, then Rainbow Six should have as well. To me it seems far too much like the game has been dumbed down for console users.
Why should I put up with average games when I can go else where and get something better and with less errors?

No the difference is you take a perfectionist, and almost anal, approach when selecting games. You'll go and pick at one or two minor points in a game and use it as the whole reason not to get it/keep it when infact it is actually a good game.
From the past few months of you banging on about how some rather good games are somehow terrible I've come to the conclusion that you simply can't afford all the games you want so you're making up excuses to get rid of ones that aren't quite 'perfection incarnate'.
If I can enjoy games then I'm afraid they are not 'utter toss' to me. It's a shame you can't see past a few flaws and have a good game on some of the other titles you seem to think are so terrible.
I own 8 consoles and at the moment I have around 150-200 games. So yes I would say I can enjoy a wider range of games than you. I certainly seem to able to enjoy a wider range of FPS games than you and it also appears I enjoy the more party orientated games more than you do aswell.
We'll have to see about the others...
