Morrowind:
Kind of frustrating at times because its so damn slow and the damn loading time after you die/revert to last save is so long I almost had time to go for a sheet...... but the whole pikey thing is genius like: in this armor shop this guy serving me wouldn't let me have a real good bow for 1 gold ;) so I shot him with my crappy bow and grabbed something like a pikey and did a runner :D its pretty good fighting but when you keep missing its annoying but smacking a guard around the face with a axe then running is hilarious. has its good and bad points and its a ok game.
Phantom crash:
pretty darn fun I like machine guns and then hold down the back trigger button(s) and pump some lead :) the only bad thing is the absolute crap they talk and the amount of reading you have to do before you start, tis very fun mix of anime and heavily armed robots. Does get repetitive sometimes with all you do is shoot and read but is fun in short bursts. good game.
Just thought I'd share my point of view :)
I would point uot the multiplayer and co-op aspects but I expect you haven't tried those much as that's not how you play games.
Admittedly I haven't played it on Live but considering they've produced a mainly online expansion for it suggests that it is bloody excellent. Personally I can't wait to try my hand at some stealthy, one-hit kill sniping. I expect to die a lot because that's the nature of the game, much like Perfect Dark's multiplayer: sometimes you win big and sometimes you lose big.

Ha. I own it. I like it and I enjoy it. However if it had a wider range of multiplayer options, a co-op mode and a bit more emphasis on realism like Ghost Recon does then I might consider it to be as good as Ghost Recon. As it stands it's good but it's level of replayability is less than GR, this is made all the more obvious by the fact thet you love FF so much that you are selling it.
Personally I like FF enough that I won't be selling it.
I will let you know if I

No I seem to be able to enjoy a wider range of games than you and I can overlook a few minor flaws which don't ruin the entire game. It appears you cannot overlook a few minor flaws, you seem to take a perfectionist and almost anal stance when selecting games.
It's a shame that you are unable to enjoy as many games as I do.

I've started from the beginning *counts* 5 times now ;P I keep wanting to change my chracters starting look and stuff again and again :S anyway I'm a dark elf? And I'm enjoying it now. I cant get that cube wasit in that cave, I keep getting beaten up >_<

O.K. game. Nay! You have only scratched the surface. If you stick with it you'll realize it's the best adventure game ever created [well I think it is anyway].
It comes into its own when you master all forms of magic: levitating, summoning demons, water-walking, etc, etc. Fatastic. I've been playing it for about 300+ hours... I'm having a break at the moment because I'm waiting for the add-on to come out.
There are some really good ideas in it, but I fail to see how the squad system is amazing, it's too simple and on the harder difficulties your team has little sense of self preservation or actual tactics.
The best level is around #6 where you assasinate a russian general. At first you think it's good because it's you and no backup, versus an entire base, so, from the briefing, you assume stealth is the order of the day. Then you realise you can lob grenades, make as much noice as you want, and no one really cares.
Ohter levels are plagued by inconsistencies, the most glaring being the Russian Armoured Van. You have a missile launcher which kills anything with one hit, except this crappy van, which disgorges reinforcements on most levels, and cannot be stopped by anything.
The enemy AI is simplistic, for example the reinforcements always come out the back of the van, and will always do so, even if you place molotovs right at the spot they will stand on.
Worth a rent but not much else. I know :(
Any other short-lived games you'd like to recommend as absolute classics?
