"What is wrong with the staff in GAME??"

Was in GAME today and overheard this conversation between a mum, her kid and the 'drip' member of staff.

Mum - "I want to get a GBA for my son, which game is best"?
Drip - "What sort of game do you want"?
Mum - "I thought computer games were for boys".
Drip - "My future wife loves watching me play". (dump him now love)!
Mum - "Its for my son"
Drip (to son) - "How old are you"?
Son (looking horrified) - "Ten"
Drip - "Oh, you're the ideal age. You are who Nintendo aim their games at"!
Mum - "Oh thats good"
Me - Thumps drip, walks off, boycotts GAME for another month!

Thats because people don't know me. Just by slapping a smilie onto something doesn't immediately change what the person was trying to say.

Check my first reply to this thread? Is that really out stepping the mark or is it just expressing what I think? Its a bit irnoic when you say that I take everything personally.

I'm not talking about today, or this topic, I'm talking about everything.
Everytime someone disagrees with youro opinion you launch into either a personal attack on them or start getting really defensive for no reason.

If someone says something you don't agree with, then fine tell them you don't agree, that's what the whole forum is about in the first place, but don't just start insulting people because they make topics that you've "seen before"
Otherwise people will just stop listening to you, and anything constructive yu do have to say will be automatically ignored.

Also, whats all this about me taking it personally? Taking what personally exactly? I don't really know what to say in reply to that. People say things, I say things back but this is because I take things "personally"? I can't figure where you get it from.

All you do is moan at other people and take everything so personally.
So maybe you've had a bad day or something, but that's no reason to take it out on other people. Just because you're not talking to them face to face doesn't mean they're not real people with real feelings.
Go around telling people that they talk "bullsh*t", and that they are "c*cks", and not only will you lose all credibility, but people will no longer care what you think, and then, what's the point of you even posting?
