There are some owners of other consoles out there who are allready saying that the GC is really bad. What I would like to know is have they actually played on it. Of course not, it's not even out yet. They have no reason to go about saying the GC is bad. I only judge a games console by how it plays and what the company have made in the past. I've played on the PS2 plenty of times and it's very good, but the reason why I'm sticking with Nintendo is because I am yet to be dissapointed by them. I liked the SNES and the N64, and because the GC is shaping up to be every bit as good as the PS2, I will probably get it. Any one complaining about the quality or the price of the GC have no reson behind it because they havn't played on it and the price is yet to be confirmed. I would like to have a PS2, but I can only afford to buy one of them. Any one who is saying that the PS2 is thousands of times better than the GC they are wrong. When I was reading the Online section in the Guardian news paper I read, and I quote:
'The Gamecube in near-launch state turned out to be more impressive than I expected. This contrasts with Sony's PlayStation 2, which now looks less impressive than expected.'
The PS2 is a brilliant piece of kit, but there's nothing stopping the GC from being better. Another thing is that people keep on saying that Nintendo makes too many children games but they have obviously overlooked many of the adult made games. If Nintendo only made adult games there would be no games for children. Also Nintendo try to focus on making games sutible for everyone. Just because the games has little adult content and no blood and gore doesn't mean it's not a good game. A game can look imensly childish but can play like a dream. I'm not going to judge whether the GC is better than the PS2 untill I get it for myself.

I think you too judged games you hadn't played, only with a more cynical and negative view.

Anyway, I will be getting a GC- reason? Because no zelda game made by shigsy will ever be less than excellent. Oh, and some other titles look promising too. (If the console does come out and the games ar5e aweful, then i will buy a different console... I'm not going to buy until i have actually played on one!)

Yeah you are right but you could have been a little more as you would say Decisive!!!!!!! the gamecube will be the one and only console for evry seriuos gamer and yes nintendo 'ave yet to disapoint me jolly well done!!!!! look at my review for thr gamecube everyone!!!!
Resi I think you need to read the original topic correctly before you start making accusations, he wasn't putting the PS2 down in anyway, he was saying the Gamecube could be better, but he wasn't saying it was better.
