Broadband is finally going to be available in my town next week. I'm interested in possibly going LIVE with my X-Box but I pretty much know nothing about it.

So basically what I want to know is what kind of costs are involved and if there are any other cables/accessories I need to buy.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks.

It can be less than £120... Cost me only £20 (so far).

Free trial with a game. I got no router because i don't mind not being able to do both at the same time. £10 on the broadband so far (dad pays a bit, and i pay the rest) and a long ethernet cable to reach to my room.

Err, well you need to get broadband for a start - that for me costs £40 a month for a 1MB connection. Then, if you want to split the bandwidth between a PC and an xbox, you'll need a router - another £40 or so. And your xbox live starter kit - £40.
