I mean not being physically able to sleep.
Being awake at 5am knowing you have to be at work in 3hrs and spending the day in a daze.
Makes you forgetful and ratty.
You get all the usual advice "Dont drink caffeine/read before you sleep/take a herbal remedy/try getting into a routine" but they don't work.
Still, best time of day to be awake.
The place is quiet, no traffic, no noisy neighbours, no incessant buzzing from the tv.
Just me, the computer and music.
Could be worse.
I said it before and I'll say it again.
Insomnia sucks.
It was actually very unpleasent
When I was 9-10 I suffered from mild Insomnia and it is bloody scary as a child and affected my school work a lot of the time...
I manage to cope now by taking mild sleeping tablets twice a wekk (not really sleeping tablets).
Well once I awoke at seven in morning (Friday) went to school... went to mate's house... never slept... went home, stayed awake... then went to others mate house... slept for an hour then went home got to sleep at 8 that night... woke up at 5 in afternoon. (mum couldn't physically wake me for school :-D)
7am Friday - 1 hour sleep Sunday morning - 8 Sunday night
60 hours awake out of 61
No doubt that took me days to recover and really funned me up... went insane for while :-)
Sleep must come soon, musn't it?
Wouldn't call it a best, but I've gone 3 days without sleep.
Felt ill and started hallucination before I basically passed out with exhaustion and slept for 16 hrs solid.
It sucks, it really does.
