I mean not being physically able to sleep.
Being awake at 5am knowing you have to be at work in 3hrs and spending the day in a daze.
Makes you forgetful and ratty.
You get all the usual advice "Dont drink caffeine/read before you sleep/take a herbal remedy/try getting into a routine" but they don't work.
Still, best time of day to be awake.
The place is quiet, no traffic, no noisy neighbours, no incessant buzzing from the tv.
Just me, the computer and music.
Could be worse.

True.
Patches didn't work, I still wanted to smoke. So I did and was sick through nicotine over-dose.
I think when I decide I want to give up, then I'll do so.
Not sure when that may happen though, maybe soon, maybe never.
Maybe I'll need to lose someone close to change my mind.
Don't know.

I can't. I'd go mental.
I tried, used the patches and stuff. Thing is, I don't want to.
That is the hardest part, to stop wanting to smoke.
That may make me weak and/or dumb, but we all have our crosses to bear.
IF YOU CAN'T SLEEP. Then stop smoking.
Here is your challenge: Stop smoking for a week. Yeah, so there is no way for me to tell if you have, you may not even decide to think about the challenge, but they say giving up temporarily can help you immensely.
Try it. As a reward, you can smoke again if you feel like you have to, after the week - just think how much you'd enjoy that week long ciggie.
Go on Goatman.
Always burn my thigh trying that stuff.
