It's only two weeks, but it does put it AFTER the Xbox release.
The reason is to ensure there are plenty of 'CUBE's on the shelves.
Hmmm.
More later.
So i try to look at the games, but

Oh come now! Every console has it's great games. Who can deny that Project Gotham- sequal to MSR- will be less than AAA quality? And what about the new Jet Set game!
I'd bet that within about 6 months of release, almost every PS2 game would appear on the xbox... they're both aimed at the same market!

$50 is only £35 ya know.
Yes Meka, it's just you. {:)
Honestly, I have a serious problem with the Xbox.
I read the press conference reports, and no matter what message they try to convey about their box, all I get is Geek-Speak.
So i try to look at the games, but they seem to reek of naffness before I get close enough.
I firmly believe that the Xbox has the naffest named games ever, I would never, ever, but a game called 'Mad Dash Racing', and that's coming from someone that bought a game called 'Magical Flying Hat Turbo Adventure'.
It's not because I refuse to accept any other console though, as I see the appeal of the PS2, it's just that to me, the Xbox offers absolutely nothing, and I can't see why anyone would want one!
But if it was all down to me, we'd be playing massively multiplayer bomerman right now.

The thing is, I can't imagine anyone struggling to make a

Quite succesful if I remember rightly......

Heard about the pre-order farce?
Microsoft insist that retailers must sell pre-orders a package, not just the console.
The package must include 3 games, and a memory card, even though with the built in hard-disk it won't be necessary.
Also at least one of the three games MUST be a Microsoft game.
The minimum you can spend on your pre-order is $450, with a $100 deposit needed.

Mine goes out to get something and comes back with everything in the shop BAR the thing she went in for...(not in her size or something!) So hopefully both the X-box and Gamecube will be in my size..
oh dear, that analogy hasn't worked!....

True, but I like BOTH sorts of games, some I'm kind of stuck.
A decision will have to be made, but hopefully I can get some more info beforehand....
