There are so many sequels in games today, the recent releases usually consist of so-and-so 2, or thingy 4, and so forth - but which of these spawns of the original games do you think rocks more than the others out there?

I'd have to say GTA Vice City (without sounding like a fanboy), as it's thrown the GTA series from its birds-eye-view pixelated layout, to a beautifully rendered 3D world.

Other series's I think have improved since the originals include Age of Empires 2, it's just the best strategy game ever, if you disagree with me you are wrong.

However other series's seem to get worse as they go along. The Fifa series peaked with Fifa 99', a gem of a game, but the more recent Fifa titles lick balls - off the ball control? What!?

So, what sequels are good and which ones drink man mayonaise?

What? Oh and Call of Duty is set in space with aliens and ships...

Or perhaps it shows a different, much better side to the war (Paratroop divisions) whilst still managing to use real events *Shock horror*.

I take it you are sh*et at history then?

MOH is much better because it has detailed backgropund behind its stories and each mission is based on a real event of WW2. Have you even played the breakthrough expansion???????

Thats why you will struggle to find any sane person who doesn't say Call of Duty is an advanced version of MOH:AA. Infinity Ward is made up of people who left EA and the MOH series to set up their own company, they took the best elements of MOH:AA and then they tweaked the game engine so it ran, looked and sounded better than the one seen in Allied Assault. Call of Duty is far advanced from a technical point of view but its also a lot more enjoyable.

No it isn't. Call Of Duty was made by the same people, except under another company after they all left EA.

It also meant they were free of having to just make another sequel as fast as possible and actually make a decent game.

OK fair enough then. In what ways was MOH better then?

Where?

Both have heavily dated and damn right ugly textures and outside of the opening to Frontline the rest of the game was a drag to play.

Play Call of Duty and then come back and tell me how good they are.
