"Need for Speed Underground"

I dont get it. I have been playin the game for about a week. Have had loads of car upgrades and won loads of races. I sold my Subura Impeza (which was about my 6th car i think) and yet i still cant buy any decent frikkin wheels.

I have loads of money but cant buy the wheels as they are 'currently locked'.
How long does it take to unlock the decent wheels??!!! I cant buy anything above 17s. Help! Thanks.

Yeah I can see your point but the thing is, whenever I cycle through all the other cars stats they are all the same as the MX5 - or isn't top speed shown on the stats? Must put it on methinks.

Hmmmmm, you should be able to buy one of the cars...

If it still dont work i guess you could try starting it again i guess.

Oh yeh, Jive, you find it easier trying the drag race with a car which has a higher top speed. Dont worry too much if it hast got as good acceleration. Thats how i did it anyways in the earlier drags becasue the mx5 doesnt have a very high top speed! Even somthing like the focus should do the trick.

I think I've got level 2 upgrades fully now and I've also tried to shift upto 6th gear but to no avail, it's not hidden is it?
