My beloved xbox passed away last night, well the cd-rom did any way.
Wont recgonize any games or films atall, just says no disk.

It's off to my mates tonight to try and be rapaired, but he said i was either looking at £70 for a new cd-rom, or i may have to buy a new one.

When i spent like £150 on the xbox i expected it to last alot longer then 14 months.

Any of you had any problems with the xbox?

(This is the first problem i have ever had with it)

I remember when consoles used to WORK. My 64 still works. Hell, my SNES still works. My Amstrad CPC 464 still freakin' works.

Yes it is. My choice would be to have cheap games and DVDs for everyone, but they never will whilst people still copy them.

If people want to get their consoles chipped to play NTSC games or other region DVDs, fine by me. If people, like El Robin, want to get their consoles chipped so they can play games downloaded off kazaa, not fine with me.

It's illegal and it affects us all.

You can buy them by all means. Just don't fit or use one.

Continue this excellent work...
Brilliant! As usual the careful and intuitive production that Freeola puts into everything it sets out to do, I am delighted.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
