Wont recgonize any games or films atall, just says no disk.
It's off to my mates tonight to try and be rapaired, but he said i was either looking at £70 for a new cd-rom, or i may have to buy a new one.
When i spent like £150 on the xbox i expected it to last alot longer then 14 months.
Any of you had any problems with the xbox?
(This is the first problem i have ever had with it)

The xbox is a first.

Greedy, money hungry?
You obviously dont know me, all my money is spent upgrading my computer and buyind DVD's ect.
Greedy, got to agree with that.
> But do you? To be honest I don't care. All your copies are worthless.
Not when i am making about £40 a week on them.

Kazaa LMAO i wont touch that crappy progam which amatures use.

Yup indeedy. The Xbox is the only console that I've had real trouble with.
My Amiga 500 worked if you slammed it at the wall.
Seriously. It just started working again.
> It's illegal and it affects us all.
True but the laws a complete a$$ anyway. Games go down in price in time if you wait a while.

My rubber keyed Speccy from 1983 has never skipped a beat :)

Warranty doesn't cover that and you're out of warranty anyway. Microsoft will also want the console back. Sure, you cna claim on the insurance but they could insist on a repair, or it could put your insurance costs up because the companies are getting really hot on false claims, plus there is probably an excess on your policy for at least £50.

But do you? To be honest I don't care. All your copies are worthless.
