PS2 is currently being manufactured at a cost of approx £260 per console.
althoughth this price will drop as manufacturing processes are streamlined
anyway,i bought the PS2 when it went down to £270 becasue that ment i could get a game with it. also becasue i there were no games i wanted to play on the PS2 till GT3 came along. looking around so far....i see little else to spend my hard earned cash on.
I think you're mistaking price and value.
If you're 15, and got a psx2 as a present then of course its worth it. It has entertainment value and it cost you nothing.

Considering that GBA games are on average around £30, that must be one of the daftest things I've ever read!
